About & sources

Gadget Price Index compares official starting prices of current iPhone models across countries and converts them into one currency so they can be compared. It is an independent site and is not affiliated with Apple Inc.

Where the prices come from

Each local price was read by hand from Apple's own Newsroom press release for that country or region, and the source page is linked next to every price. Prices are not collected automatically. They are updated by hand when Apple announces new prices. Only countries and models with a published price are shown.

Exchange rates

Prices are converted with the euro foreign exchange reference rates published by the European Central Bank (ECB) on each working day. Source: ECB statistics. The reference rates are published for information purposes only. Currencies without an ECB reference rate are shown in local currency only.
